Cleaner’s Association of America President Tom Rieckhoff told ESPN he thinks the 2018-19 season will be a big year for carpet cleaners, with the industry facing a resurgence in the popularity of the spray that comes in spray cans.

According to the Cleaning & Maintenance Association, a trade group representing carpet cleaners around the country, sales of carpet cleaners increased more than 5 percent year over year for the third consecutive year.
The industry also saw sales of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies, which represent around $1 billion annually.
In the United States, carpet cleaners make up about 30 percent of the market.
The cleaning industry is one of two largest in the United State, according to Rieckerhoff.
The other is the construction industry.
