The American Conservancy is calling for the cleaning machine to be recalled.
The group says the cleaning products contain “a synthetic fragrance that could irritate sensitive skin.”
The fragrance is not allowed on household products.
A spokesperson for the company says the product is made in China.
“The company’s products are designed to remove bacteria and dirt and can be used as a regular household cleaner or as an alternative to soap or water,” said a spokesperson in a statement.
“There are no health concerns related to the use of the product.
However, the product has not been tested on animals and there is no evidence that it can be applied to the skin or eyes.”
The American Conservative is calling on the FDA to issue a recall.
The product was originally available in grocery stores in the United States.
The American Chemical Council says the fragrance has a strong scent, and that it is “unlikely to harm humans.”
