Two people have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a young man who was found dead at a home in HOOver, Florida, authorities said.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said 19-year-old Joshua Johnson and 19-old Daniel Jackson were arrested Friday.
Investigators believe Johnson killed 19-yr-old Michael Lachman.
Lachman, a University of Florida graduate, was found on the floor of his home on the 700 block of W. Main Street, about 2:20 a.m.
Friday, said Deputy Sheriff Tim Wray.LACHMAN, who was a student at the University of Miami, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wray said Lachmans body was found in a bedroom closet, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Jackson was arrested on a charge of second-degree aggravated murder, and was taken into custody on the same charges Friday.
Wigton Police Chief Michael Wigton said investigators believe Jackson killed Lachmann because of a dispute.
Wrigton Police said Jackson told investigators he went to Lachm’s house and confronted him about Lachmens car-spilling.
Jackson then stabbed Lachmand with a knife and left the home, Wigman said.
Wigson Police Chief Steve Broussard said LACHMAN WAS NOT SUSPECTED OF ANY OTHER CHARGES.
The Sheriff’s office said Jackson was arrested at his home.
Jackson is being held in the Palm Beach Gardens jail on a $10 million bond.
